The program is designed for infants aged 5 to 14 months and takes place with parental participation. It is based on modern approaches to early learning in water, where play, movement, and sensory stimulation support the child’s holistic development.

The sessions include carefully selected movement and water-based activities that promote the development of core stabilizing muscles, coordination, and balance awareness. Through natural movement patterns such as kicking, pushing off, and reaching, infants gradually develop basic movement skills in water. This type of activity also has a positive effect on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems and contributes to overall motor development.

The program is held in the Sveta doživetji pools, with a water temperature of 30°C. Parents (up to two adult caregivers) actively participate in the sessions. Instructors guide and support parents throughout the activities, ensuring correct and safe interaction with the infant. The program is offered at two levels: beginner and continuation.

BABY SPLASHER - beginner Baby Exercises in the Water
The program is designed progressively and is delivered in several stages. In the initial phase, the focus is on water adaptation, relaxation, and sensory experience. As the program continues, more demanding movement tasks are gradually introduced, promoting stability, balance, and independent movement in water.

A key feature of the program is its systematic teaching approach, based on the connection between a clear signal and an appropriate response. This helps infants gradually build trust in the aquatic environment and adapt to it in a safe and predictable way.

Through its holistic approach, the program not only lays the foundation for swimming skills but also encourages self-confidence, a sense of safety, and a positive relationship with water, which are essential for further learning.

BABY SWIMMER - advanced Baby Exercises in the Water 
This program is intended for infants up to 14 months of age who have completed the beginner program. It begins with a brief review of previously acquired skills, reinforcing water confidence and basic movement patterns.

As the program progresses, new elements are gradually introduced using a variety of props and equipment that encourage independent movement, balance, and body control in water. The focus is on developing existing skills such as gliding, floating, and water orientation, as well as promoting independent movement with the support of equipment.

The program also includes continued learning of breath control and submersion, introduced gradually and adapted to each individual infant. This further strengthens trust in the water environment and the ability to control breathing.

Training is based on repetition and progressive development of movement, allowing motor patterns to become reinforced and gradually automated. At the same time, infants are encouraged to actively participate, supporting the development of coordination, stability, and confidence in water.

The goal of the continuation program is to deepen acquired experiences and establish a strong foundation for learning to swim later in childhood.

Duration and Dates 

Beginner Exercises
The programme comprises 10 weekly sessions, each 20 to 50 minutes long. 
The available dates span across the entire year. When enough applications for a specific date have been received, we determine the programme’s start date. 
There are no exercises during school holidays.

Advanced exercises: 

We offer two options – purchasing 5 or 10 hours.
The exercises take place throughout the year, once weekly as per the scheduled dates. You may join them at any moment.
There are no exercises during school holidays.

The exercise take place from October 20, 2025, until approximately June 30, 2026. You can join the group at any time during this period.

Mandatory Gear
The mandatory gear for babies are swimming diapers and for parents swimsuits. We provide all other swimming accessories, including swimming rings.
