The contest lasted from April to mid-September, during which time a team from the above mentioned radio show visited many Slovenian swimming centres. Apart from that, voting was conducted via radio and television stations, text messaging, and www.dj-slovenija.si web portal. More than 45.200 votes were received, which is 15.000 more than last year, and the votes went to 102 Slovenian swimming centres.
Best Slovenian swimming centres were evaluated and selected by their visitors. They were able to vote via eleven radio stations (Radio Odmev, Radio Koper, Radio SI, Radio Kranj, Radio Ptuj, Radio Bakla, Radio Zeleni val, Radio Štajerski val, Radio Alpski val, Radio Prlek, Radio Urban) or via participating web portals.
